About
Manabe Kakeru is the vice president of the Student Council at Sohma Yuki's high school. Originally, Yuki find Kakeru somewhat annoying, but eventually they became best friends (though Yuki probably don't want to admit that ;) ). Yuki is aware that Kakeru has a girlfriend from another school, but Kakeru didn't introduce her to him until Chapter 113 in the manga. It is then revealed Kakeru's girlfriend is Nakao Komaki, and she shared a tragic connection with Honda Tohru (spoiler-rific so I'm not going to reveal it here ^_^).
The two are super-cute together :) Kakeru told Yuki Komaki is the "Angel of meat" because she loves meat, and when Komaki found out what he said, she is shown chasing Kakeru around and ready to beat him up :) (reminds me of how Kagura used to chase Kyou around ^_^). Kakeru apparently told Komaki that Yuki is actually a girl, and when Yuki found out, he is shown chasing Kakeru around and ready to beat him up :) (Komaki joined Yuki in this too since she's mad Kakeru lied to her ^_^) With Kakeru being a complete joker, moments like these probably happens a lot :)
All the joking and teasing aside, Kakeru is actually a very caring boyfriend. More than anything, he wants to be able to fully understand Komaki, as he felt that he would be useless by her side if he did not truly understand her. Komaki seemed to appreciate this a lot since she said to Yuki that she thinks Kakeru is the only one that would really love her...awww :)
